Job summary

Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, OH is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform a range of MRI procedures, including neuro and body imaging, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety.

The role requires on-call responsiveness within 60 minutes, flexible scheduling, and independent work within the radiology team. AMA-accredited radiology training and ARRT certification are expected, with MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to exhibit patience and tact and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all situations with all constituents including patients, physicians and other associates.
• Must also demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes, be cooperative and collaborative, and have the documented ability to work with speed and proficiency while under stress.
• MRI safety awareness is essential.
• MRI experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of MRI exams including neuro, abdomen, ortho and MRA exams.
• On-call response time required within sixty (60) minutes.
• May assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Lead Tech.
