Job summary

DMS Health Technologies is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide part-time coverage in Colonial Heights and Richmond, VA. The role involves operating MRI equipment, preparing patients, and delivering diagnostic images under physician direction.

The position supports varied daytime shifts with travel between VA sites, requiring ARRT certification and CPR, and offers profit-sharing bonuses and mileage reimbursement to reflect its field service nature.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• PC proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines and create diagnostic images per physicians’ instructions.
• Document patient histories, prepare and comfort patients for scans.
• Follow physician orders and protocols; administer prescribed medications.
• Use imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge to produce high-quality images.
• Transfer and verify images and patient data arrived correctly.
• Comply with safety and quality procedures; participate in safety processes.
• Travel up to 100% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
