Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and/or related experience required.
• PC proficiency to access job related internet websites and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well independently.
• Ability to follow instructions in stressful environments.
• Superb bedside manner and the ability to work with a variety of personalities.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines and create diagnostic images per physician instructions.
• Document patients' health histories, prep for scans, and keep them relaxed during procedures.
• Follow orders and protocols; administer prescribed medications.
• Use imaging knowledge to create high-quality images for radiologists and others.
• Transfer images and verify patient information arrived correctly.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety processes; report hazards.
• This position may require travel up to 100% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
