Job summary

Gulf Coast MRI & Diagnostic, Inc. is seeking a part-time MRI technologist to support our outpatient imaging centers in Houston, TX. The role covers daytime and evening shifts, including Saturdays, across multiple locations.

You will perform MRI procedures, prepare patients, explain the process, screen for safety, and work with PACS and department information systems. A radiologic technology program completion and ARRT/ARMRIT certification are required; CPR/BLS also.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Graduate of a radiologic technology program with certs/degrees.
• ARRT or ARMRIT licensure required.
• CPR/BLS certification through Red Cross or AHA.
• Minimum one year experience as a radiologic technologist; MRI a plus.
• Must be physically active and able to assist with patient handling.
• Flexible scheduling and willingness to work at another clinic.
• Not required to be on call.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients and prepare for exams.
• Explain procedures, position patients, and administer contrast when needed.
• Screen for safety and follow magnet safety practices.
• Work with department information system and PACS.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced workloads.
• Uphold Gulf Coast MRI & Diagnostic values in all duties.
