A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Part-Time MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams and ensure patient safety. Responsibilities include completing exams, documentation, and adherence to MRI safety protocols. Candidates should have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences and ARRT certification in MRI. This role offers flexible days/evenings shifts with a competitive pay range of $31.25 to $50.48 per hour. The position is onsite at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY.
Qualifications
Minimum of Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences.
ARRT Certification in MRI required.
Two years' experience preferred, new graduates welcomed.
Responsibilities
Complete all steps involved with exams including documentation.
Follow MRI safety policies consistently.
Label syringes appropriately for patient identification.
Set acquisition factors for optimal image quality.
Assess and manage stock levels in the department.
