Job summary

The MRI Technologist at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY performs a range of MRI exams, including interventional MRI, while upholding MR safety and delivering high-quality patient care.

The full-time days/evenings FLEX role requires self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to varying schedules within 6:30am–11pm and rotating weekends; eligible external applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform MRI exams with safety protocols in mind.
• Strong patient communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI exams including interventional MRI with quality image acquisition.
• Ensures MR safety policies are followed for staff and patients.
• Labels, documents patient history, contrast info, and injection details.
• Maintains stock levels and enters supply orders as needed.
