Job summary

A leading medical center in Woodbury is seeking a Part Time MRI Technologist. In this role, you will operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensure patient safety, and assist radiology students. Required qualifications include a Technical Diploma from an accredited school, a valid New York state license, and ARRT certification. This position offers a pay range of $57.83 - $63.88 per hour, depending on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma with experience in Radiology or Imaging Services required.
• Licensure in New York and ARRT certification is essential.
• 1-2 years of experience as an MRI technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images of specified body areas.
• Utilize PACS to make images available to the radiologist.
• Enter proper exam coding in the Radiology Information System.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of facilities and report issues.
• Instruct and supervise radiography students.
