Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform MRI imaging for adult and pediatric patients. The role includes preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and supervising shift operations with workflow and resource management.

The technologist serves as a clinical resource, mentors staff and students, and ensures quality and safety standards are met. Supervisory responsibilities may be assumed in the absence of supervision.

Qualifications

• Certification as RT(R) and/or MR; ARMRIT or ARRT preferred.
• 2–5 years imaging experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification and licensure (IEMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures.
• Perform MRI studies independently and in multiple settings.
• Manage daily workflow, staffing, and prioritise tasks.
• Act as a clinical resource; mentor technologists and trainees.
• Communicate effectively with the team and maintain supplies.

The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and overseeing shift operations, including workflow and resource management. The technologist acts as a clinical resource, mentors staff and students, and ensures quality and safety standards are met. In the absence of supervision, they assume supervisory responsibilities and assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures
• Performing studies independently and in various settings

• Serving as a clinical resource and mentor for technologists and trainees
