Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, for adult and pediatric patients. You will prepare patients and equipment, conduct studies independently, and assist with complex exams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
• 2-5 years of experience, with preferred advanced imaging experience (MRI, CT, etc.).
• Licenses and certifications as required, including IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI).
• Strong technical skills, critical thinking, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform studies independently, including portable and on-call exams.
• Manage daily workflow, assignments, and equipment issues.
• Provide expertise, problem-solving, and mentorship to team members.
• Coordinate communication between team and supervisor, ensuring proper supplies and documentation.
