Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for adult and pediatric patients. You will prepare patients and equipment, set up MRI studies, and conduct exams independently or during on-call shifts.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and high-quality imaging, with a focus on patient care and teamwork. Prior RT/MR certification and imaging experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) and/or MR certification preferred.
• 2+ years in MRI/CT/interventional imaging preferred.
• CPR certification and IV therapy training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform exams independently, including on-call and portable studies.
• Assist in workflow, patient care, and MRI safety screenings.

Job description

This position is for a PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI exams, on adult and pediatric patients. Key duties include patient preparation, equipment setup, conducting imaging studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associate degree or higher in a related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
• Preferred experience of 2+ years in advanced imaging modalities like MRI, CT, or interventional radiology
• Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), RCIS, RCES, or ARRT certifications preferred
• Additional certifications like CPR and IV therapy are a plus
