Job summary

The ideal candidate holds AMA-approved Radiology tech or MRI program accreditation, BLS and ARRT credentials, and 1–2 years hospital experience. Flexibility for overtime and coverage across sites is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technology or MRI Program.
• BLS; ARRT; Maintains licensure and CEUs annually; MRI registry within 12–24 months.
• Proficient in Cross Sectional Anatomy and magnet safety.
• 1–2 years hospital experience; knowledge of PACS or ability to train.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures with adherence to safety and departmental protocols.
• Documents information and uses RIS/PACS for tracking and image management.
• Assesses patient status and ensures eligibility for MRI exam.
• QC of MRI studies and post-processing as required.
• Maintains documentation and contributes to team-based patient care.
