Job summary

Indiana University Health System's Imaging Center in Muncie, IN is seeking a Full-time MRI Technologist. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM in an outpatient imaging setting located about one mile from the main hospital.

The role includes MRI safety, patient prep, IV access, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists; you will participate in an MRI call rotation and support a small imaging team.

Qualifications

• Possesses knowledge of MRI safety and safety zones; screens for safety concerns.
• Obtains IV access, prepares and administers contrast, and responds to adverse events.
• Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy for accurate imaging.
• Documents information in EMR and collaborates with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient MRI practice with ~30-minute patient appointments.
• Participates in MRI call rotation; roughly every sixth weekend and one holiday per year.
• Ensures safety and smooth workflow; screens visitors and staff entering MRI area.
• Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed and maintains equipment QC.
