Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist in Las Vegas to produce high-quality diagnostic images with strict safety and compassionate patient care. You’ll operate MRI systems, select techniques per orders, and ensure imaging excellence while maintaining rigorous safety zones and documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, mentorship, and ongoing proficiency with PACS and imaging software, supporting a patient-centered outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR certification or ARMRIT obtainable
• Active state licensure where required
• CPR/BLS certified and current
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technology program
• 1+ year MRI experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution diagnostic images
• Select imaging techniques based on orders and patient condition
• Evaluate own work before radiologist review
• Maintain MRI safety zones I–IV and monitor patients
• Proficient in PACS and imaging software systems
• Document patient data accurately and completely
• Perform routine quality control and preventive maintenance
• Mentor staff and students to uphold clinical standards
