Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Outpatient Imaging - Blackwell is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services and support compassionate patient care.

You will operate MRI scanners and related equipment, observe safety procedures for all patients, manage IV contrast considerations, document exams in EMR/PACS/HConnect, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring physicians to maximize throughput on a day shift.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of AMA/JRCERT accredited radiography program.
• 1 year MRI experience; 3 years preferred
• ARRT MRI certification
• Maryland Radiation Technologist license
• BLS certification required
• IV contrast certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and ancillary equipment.
• Ensure MRI safety for all patients including those with implants.
• Assess IV contrast contraindications and monitor reactions.
• Document MRI exams and contrast in EMR/PACS/HConnect.
• Maximize patient throughput and collaborate with team.
• Work with radiologists, referring physicians, nurses and other departments.
• Perform QA procedures as needed.
• Contribute to PI projects and department duties.
