Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an MRI Technologist at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA to perform radiographic MRI studies with independence and accuracy. The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and high-quality image production.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Certification in MR imaging (ARRT MR, ARMRIT or CAMRT) required.
• Ability to perform radiographic imaging procedures with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures independently.
• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient on procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice as ordered.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors and ensure safety and quality control.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
