Job summary

The MRI Technologist at UCI Health performs the full range of basic and advanced MRI procedures and acts as a resource to teammates. The role requires being on-call and working varied shifts, including weekends and some evenings as assigned.

Qualifications include an Advanced Specialty Certification or graduation from an accredited MRI program, with certification obtained within 6 months of hire. ARRT licensure and Basic Life Support are preferred, along with venipuncture certification.

Qualifications

• Willing to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends and overtime.
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend/evening coverage.
• May be assigned to ambulatory clinics as needed.
• Must obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of basic and advanced MRI procedures.
• Serve as a resource to other staff and maintain on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
