Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time night shift in Georgia. You will perform MRI procedures, position patients, manage contrast as needed, and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The role requires MRI credentials (ARMRIT/ARRT-MR) and an accredited MRI program; BLS certification is also required. You will join a team-focused environment with opportunities for career growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required upon hire
• BLS or equivalent Basic Life Support certification required
• Minimum 1 year successful completion of an accredited MRI program
• Must exhibit excellent communication skills with physicians, patients and staff

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI procedures with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Position patients and prepare them for imaging according to procedures.
• Maintain image quality and proper documentation in PACS/RIS.
• Follow Joint Commission and hospital policy for safety and privacy.
• Performs routine duties and participates in equipment maintenance and calibration.
