Job summary

Valley Health System seeks an MRI Technologist to operate the MRI scanner, prepare patients, and follow physician orders. You will review safety checklists, verify patient ID, and ensure exams are archived in PACS and completed in RIS. Maintain readiness and stay current with MRI procedures.

The role requires ARRT (MR) certification, CPR, and at least two years of MRI experience. Shift involves night hours with 4x10s from Wednesday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT MR certification and CPR.
• Two years MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology or MRI program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate MRI scanner per physician orders.
• Review MRI safety checklist and verify patient identification.
• Position patients and assist onto scanner; ensure exam is archived in PACS and RIS.
• Maintain equipment and facility readiness and stay updated on MRI procedures.
