Job description

Job Summary

Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the MRI Technologist is responsible for delivering quality patient care to all patient populations in Radiology and its satellite facilities during assigned duty hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic-quality MRI images with proper documentation of radiology records and safety protocols.
• Maximize the use of equipment and available resources.
• Interact in a positive, service‑oriented manner with patients, medical staff, and peers.
• Perform all assigned procedures, including RIS and HIS processes.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Acute‑care hospital MRI technologist experience within the past three years.
• Required lisensure/ certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), or obtain the required licensure within six months of employment.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

Work Hours

Full‑time position, regular hours.

Compensation

Pay range based on applicable experience: $64.97 to $86.90 per hour. Shift differentials apply: Evening $4.22 per hour, Night $6.33 per hour.
