Job summary

Emory University’s MRI Technology team is hiring an MRI Technologist to provide quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a busy radiology environment.

The role requires ARRT registration, a radiologic technology degree, and at least one year of MRI experience along with BLS certification. The position operates at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, with full-time 40-hour weeks and a Tuesday–Friday night shift.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered and a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of two years of radiology experience with at least one year in MRI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Communicate patient needs and responses through verbal and written communication.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation of patient care aspects.
• Operate imaging and specialty equipment and stay current with device use.
• Provide direct care for all procedures in the MRI/radiology area.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper patient readiness.
• Assist with patient and family education and contribute to research activities.
