Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process. You will prepare patients, administer medications as prescribed, optimize imaging protocols, apply ALARA principles, and document histories to support diagnostic outcomes.

The role includes educating students and staff, participating in quality improvement, and advancing imaging

Qualifications

• ARRT MR, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR or equivalent certification.
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program; related bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, protocols and imaging techniques.
• Ability to educate others and participate in process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders, identify patients, prepare for exams and document clinical history.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize factors and apply ALARA for safety.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as directed.
• Evaluate image quality, positioning and verify data storage/transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare staff, enforcing safety.
• Assist with MRI interventional procedures and perform imaging tasks.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Engage in quality improvement and handle routine and complex duties.
