Position: MRI Technologist ‐ (MRI Tech)

Start Date: 6/9/2025

Available Shifts: 8 E

Pay Rate: $2501.00 ‐ $2882.00

Position Overview

The primary responsibility will be MRI coverage, with the expectation that the technologist will assist the CT department if there are no MRI exams. Siemens MRI experience is required. This is an overnight position focusing mainly on MRI, especially handling STAT or urgent cases. When no MRI exams are scheduled, the technologist will assist in CT.

Daily Caseload & Environment

• Caseload: 35‐40 cases per day
• Rooms: 3
• Setting: Outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level 1 Trauma, Teaching Hospital

General Skills & Equipment

• Experience: IV Starts, EKGs, PACS, Contrast
• Equipment: Siemens MRI scanners
• Documentation: EPIC preferred
• Experience with: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (Non‐Brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post‐Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Spin Echo, Surface Coils, T‐1 & T‐2 Weighted Images
• Certifications: AART, BLS-AHA

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years in MRI
• Certifications: MR‐American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; BLS‐AHA
• Availability: Rotating weekends every 3rd, 1st shift (7a‐3:30p)
• SSN & DOB required
• References: 1 in entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC documentation
• Experience with Siemens equipment
