Position Summary:

We are seeking a MRi Technologist - MRI - Per Diem in our Radiology Department. The role involves performing magnetic imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis or treatment, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety, and demonstrating expertise in MRI technology, anatomy, and medical terminology.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate MRI equipment in compliance with all regulations, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
2. Maintain current knowledge of MRI techniques and technology, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
3. Provide patient comfort and care, including explaining procedures, ensuring dignity, and assessing safety.
4. Verify patient identity and obtain informed consent, assist during interventional procedures, and ensure proper documentation.
5. Utilize HIS/RIS systems effectively according to hospital policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of a two-year approved ARRT program, BLS certification, 1-2 years of current MRI experience, and MRI certification. Effective communication skills across all organizational levels are essential.
