Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown in Jacksonville, FL seeks an MRI Technologist to join our MRI Department. This full-time day position runs Wednesday through Friday from 6:30am to 7:00pm, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible.

Responsibilities include performing MRI exams, preparing patients, and working closely with Radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic information while maintaining safety and quality standards across the MRI suite.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT certification is required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• ARRT MRI registry must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• CRT or ARRT (R) or ARRT MRI pathway acceptable depending on qualification.
• Vocational School training noted as education pathway.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams on patients with high-quality diagnostic procedures and patient safety in mind.
• Prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare staff for accurate diagnostic information.
• Operate the MRI equipment.
• Maintain a caring, professional demeanor with patients and promote goodwill.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements and safety policies.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our MRI Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Wednesday-Friday 6:30am-7:00pm.

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• This MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI exams on patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic procedures and patient safety.
• In addition to performing MRI exams on patients, this MRI Technologist will prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure to them.
• The MRI Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
• This MRI Technologist will operate the MRI equipment.
• Performing high-quality (MRI) procedures
• Promoting goodwill among coworkers and other departments, and maintaining a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
• Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements
• Taking every precaution to protect oneself, the patient, and others from potential harm relating to the magnetic field
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy

• Or Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required
• Or Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• If CRT or ARRT (R) must obtain ARRT (MRI) registry within 18 months of hire.
