Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the MRI Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This part-time days position runs Thursday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm and Saturday 6:30am-7:00pm, operating MRI equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

You will collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information while prioritizing patient comfort and safety, with required ARMRIT/ARRT/BLS credentials and relevant hospital experience.

Position Overview

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our MRI Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Part-Time Days opportunity working Thursday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm and Saturday 6:30am-7:00pm. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI exams on patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic procedures and patient safety. The MRI Technologist will prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure to them. The MRI Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. The MRI Technologist will operate the MRI equipment.

• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Required
• Or Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Or Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required
• Or Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• *If CRT or ARRT (R) must obtain ARRT (MRI) registry within 18 months of hire.

This position will be located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.
