Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team in a stable, full-time role. The position focuses on operating a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner and serving local communities with professionalism and patient-centered care.

You will work within an employee-owned organization, with opportunities for ongoing education, benefits, and collaboration across multiple healthcare facilities as part of SMS ONETEAM.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered.
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred.
• Produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
• Pass pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards of practice, including contrast administration under site Radiologist guidance.
• Review and complete patient screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, and sustain technical competency via continuing education.
