The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, lead and assist MRI technologists in imaging neuro and body scans within Florida Hospital's guidelines, transmit images for diagnostic interpretation, and keep the hospital's computer system updated. Follow age-specific guidelines and implement Florida Hospital principles. Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships. Provide daily critique/review of MRI exams.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Perform and assist with MRI exams on all patient types: Inpatient (IP), Outpatient (OP), and Emergency Department (ED); using FH MRI protocols. Properly identify patients prior to exams, educate them about the procedure, and supervise and administer exams.
• Complete MRI exams efficiently, assist technologists to ensure proper workflow, minimize empty table time, and communicate effectively post-exam regarding transportation and discharge. Monitor daily time and attendance.
• Perform all MRI procedures safely, operate all equipment including scanners, injectors, and monitors, and adapt protocols for patients of all ages. Complete quarterly competency reviews for assigned staff.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• ARRT - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) certification required or
• ARMRIT certification required or
• ARRT - Radiologic Technologist certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
