Job summary

Radiology Partners is looking for a qualified MRI Technician in the Town of Texas, Wisconsin. POSITION SUMMARY

• Maintain protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead(s).
• Perform and maintain daily check‑ups and quality control on MRI scanners required by the American College of Radiology (ACR), the state Department of Health Services, and other credentialing organizations as required by law.
• Perform IV insertion when contrast is needed following OSHA guidelines.
• Identify each patient, review exam paperwork, and obtain appropriate medical history from the patient.
• Confirm that all images are sent to PACS per policy and procedures and verify tech notes and required documents have successfully transmitted to PACS.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of a recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiological technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in intravenous injections.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
