Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MR Technologist in Training in Springfield, MA to operate MRI scanners under supervision and deliver patient-centered imaging services. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a flexible schedule and DailyPay option.

Responsibilities include patient prep, explaining scans, proper positioning, and maintaining RIS records while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. Required ARRT/ARMRIT eligibility and CPR certification; within 18 months, pursue MRI certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT registration required, depending on state regulations
• CPR certification current
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program; licensed radiologic technologist where applicable
• Within 18 months, train to perform MRI procedures independently and obtain imaging specialty certification

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam and verify patient identity
• Explain procedures and position patients for MRI scanning
• Perform routine MRI procedures with supervision and progress to advanced MRI procedures
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Keep work area clean and equipment maintained and calibrated
