Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist in Training to operate MRI scanners and deliver patient-centered imaging services. You will guide patients, ensure safety, and document procedures under supervision.

The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT eligibility, CPR certification, and a plan to gain independent MRI competency within 18 months. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a flexible schedule and benefits, including DailyPay and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT registration in good standing within two months of hire.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program; licensed radiological technologist where applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Within 18 months, training to perform MRI procedures independently and obtain imaging certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images under supervision.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain equipment and comply with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Support MRI department operations and assist with protocol manuals and supplies.
