Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure safety and imaging quality across MRI procedures. You will adhere to ethics, participate in patient care, and support documentation in EPIC and imaging systems.

The role requires ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification and BLS, with a focus on patient safety, efficient workflow, and high-quality diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout the imaging process and ensures screening, preparation, monitoring and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality MRI images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening and monitoring.
• Operates MRI equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical record and imaging archives.
