Job summary

RadNet in Newport Beach, CA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated radiology team delivering high-quality imaging care. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, administer contrast when needed, and optimize imaging parameters.

Strong communication and patient-centered care are essential. ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state licensure, and BLS are required, with at least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other settings to produce quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and medications on site.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
