Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or Radiologic technology program.
• 1 year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of MRI physics, imaging techniques, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training Radiology students and staff in MRI procedures and safety.
• Bill all procedures performed and maintain necessary paperwork.
• Obtain quality MRI images using appropriate technical factors and sequences.
• Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning for MRI exams.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Utilize PACS, IDXRad, and other imaging systems as required.
