Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Radiology Imaging Specialist to perform diagnostic imaging and assist in advanced procedures. You will prepare and position patients, acquire high-quality images, and support radiologists with interpretation and record-keeping.

The role requires a radiography/MRI program with ARRT MRI certification, strong patient care and teamwork, plus experience with EPIC and PACS systems. Travel is 20% and safety and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Two-year JRCERT accredited program in Radiography and/or MRI.
  • Three+ years experience with at least one year in a specialty.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and imaging systems.
  • Ability to read, write and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and prepare patients.
  • Position patients and adjust imaging equipment for optimal views.
  • Assist radiologists with examinations and image processing.
  • Maintain records, logs and reports; ensure safety and sterility.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, safety policies and compliance procedures.
