Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, CA is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams across adult and pediatric patients, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

The role requires ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification, a current BCLS, and a minimum of 2 years’ MRI experience, with strong communication and computer skills to support accurate image processing and documentation.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintaining status.
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI-specific coursework.
• At least 2 years of MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills for image processing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety by following MRI screening procedures and regulations.
• Position patients and communicate clearly to ensure comfort and safety.
• Review and process MR images to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate exam documentation, patient records, and billing information.
