Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high‑quality imaging in accordance with scope of practice and organizational standards.

You will conduct QA testing, prepare equipment, and position patients for complex neuro and anesthesia cases while maintaining safety and patient comfort. The role requires collaboration with the imaging team and ongoing education for staff and students.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist in MRI with state licensing where required.
• Current BLS certification and ability to administer contrast under scope.
• Graduate of an accredited imaging program with relevant clinical hours.
• Experience with QA, safety protocols and MR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance testing on MRI equipment and related devices.
• Operate MR protocols for core and complex cases, including neuro and anesthesia cases.
• Prepare equipment, calibrate parameters, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Position patients correctly and execute imaging procedures with accuracy.
• Educate patients about procedures and informed consent as needed.
• Review orders, document results, and report issues to the team.
• Serve as a resource to staff and participate in peer evaluations.
• Monitor patient condition and administer contrast media within scope.
