Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health (VCU Health) invites applications for an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and support diagnostic imaging across age groups. You will operate MRI scanners, follow protocols, and document exams under licensed practitioners.

Qualifications include ARRT or NMTCB certification, graduation from a JRC accredited program in radiologic technology, and a preferred bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology or JRCNMT in nuclear medicine.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required prior to first day.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Assist licensed independent practitioners during MRI exams and interventional procedures.
• Educate and supervise students and learners in Radiology.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain documentation.
