Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform MRI exams and ensure high-quality imaging at Glenbrook Hospital in Illinois. The role requires certification or an associate degree in Radiology, CPR, and MR credentials.

This full-time position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and rotating weekend coverage. Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning and comforting them, reviewing images for quality, and supporting post-procedural care for all ages.

Qualifications

• Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program.
• CPR certification required, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT credentials preferred.
• IEMA license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for physicians to diagnose and treat patient illness or injury.
• Prepare patients for exams: history, explain procedures, position patients, ensure comfort.
• Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality.
• Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all ages and provide information as directed.

Hourly Pay Range:
$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

MRI Technologist II

Position Highlights:

• Position: MRI Technologist II
• Sign on bonus: $10,000
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time
• Hours: M-F 11am-7pm, rotating weekends
• Required Travel: yes

What you will do:

• Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
• Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

What you will need:

• Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR required, ARRT- MR or ARMRIT
• License: IEMA (not required)
• Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
• Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
