CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. in Dundalk, MD is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform routine and specialized MRI imaging with emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging. The role supports IV access, contrast administration, and MRI safety standards.

You will operate MRI equipment, verify orders, prepare patients, document in the EHR, and participate in safety initiatives. A 3–4 year experience and ARMRIT/ARRT certification on hire are required, with BLS on hire.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or accredited MRI certificate.
• 3–4 years MRI experience; able to perform all MRI protocols independently.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required on hire; internal candidates may be considered without certification.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Operate MRI equipment, select appropriate technical factors, and support invasive procedures under MRI guidance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental training, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, communicate effectively, and process images for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment quality control, supplies, and inventory; report malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Assist in patient education, address physical and psychological needs, and ensure patient comfort.
• Document activities accurately in electronic health records and ensure timely image distribution.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, including ARRT/ARMRIT ethics, and maintain a safe MRI environment.

The role emphasizes patient safety, quality imaging, and adherence to safety protocols, including IV access, contrast administration, and MRI safety standards.
