Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform MRI exams, adjust technical settings, and ensure high-quality patient care in a team-focused environment.
The role requires an associate degree or MRI certificate with 3–4 years of MRI experience, ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification, and BLS. Strong communication and ability to work under pressure are essential.
An MRI Technologist II performs routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care in a team-oriented environment.
Conducts MRI exams, selects appropriate technical settings, administers contrast agents, supports invasive procedures, and maintains safety protocols. Participates in quality improvement, patient education, and departmental workflows. Ensures equipment functionality, manages supplies, documents procedures, and reports issues. Transports and prepares patients, verifies orders, and communicates effectively to promote patient comfort. Maintains compliance with safety, regulatory, and ethical standards, including MR safety and organizational policies. Documents patient care activities and processes images for interpretation.
Requires an associate's degree or accredited radiologic/MRI certificate, with 3-4 years of MRI experience. Certifications such as ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) are mandatory, along with BLS certification. Demonstrates knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, patient positioning, and safety protocols. Must work effectively under stress and have strong communication skills.
