Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, perform diagnostic and therapeutic MRI procedures, and assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You will conduct accurate MRI scans, select techniques based on patient needs, administer intravenous contrast, maintain equipment, follow MRI safety policies, and prepare images for interpretation.

Job description

Role Overview: An MRI Technologist responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing diagnostic and therapeutic MRI procedures, and assisting physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

  • Key Responsibilities: Conducting accurate MRI scans, selecting appropriate techniques based on patient needs, administering intravenous contrast, maintaining equipment, ensuring safety policies, and preparing images for interpretation.
  • Patient Care & Safety: Assessing patient conditions, following MRI safety policies, maintaining sterile techniques, and documenting procedures accurately.
  • Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, ARRT registration, MRI certification or within six months, CT license, CPR certification (if required), and continuing education credits. Desirable: relevant experience, associate degree, knowledge of anatomy and quality assurance.
  • Abilities: Operating MRI systems, managing patient flow, effective communication, maintaining confidentiality, reacting calmly in emergencies, and basic life support skills.
  • Work Conditions: May include rotating on call, night, weekend, or holiday shifts; physical activity involved; adherence to OSHA standards; and maintaining a safe environment.
