Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an MRI Technologist I at Wilkes Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC. In this role, you will perform MRI procedures while ensuring adherence to departmental protocols. This position involves operating MRI scanners and providing exceptional patient care with a flexible weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited institution in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Active enrollment in an MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of patient care and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Evaluate technical quality of images and assist Radiologists as needed.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure understanding.
