Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a qualified MRI Technologist for the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center MRI department in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves patient preparation, order verification, and MRI scanning with radiologist collaboration to ensure high quality imaging and safety.

36 hours per week with 1st shift; weekend schedule may apply. Minimum ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT certification required; BLS and hospital safety practices essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• Active enrollment in MRI registry or ARMRIT program required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and verify orders; consult Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Prepare patients, obtain histories, and document procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor patient safety during scans.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and record details.
• Maintain radiology safety and clean, organized work areas.
