Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and complex MRI procedures with attention to safety and quality. You will verify demographics, assure image quality, and work with a specialized team to support diagnostic examinations.

The role requires completion of a one-year MRI program or ARRT MRI certification, and ongoing CME to maintain credentials. Maryland licensure is preferred, with ARRT MRI or ARMIRT certification and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a one-year accredited program in MRI Technology or ARRT MRI certification.
• Current with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Processes MRI scan sequences; verifies demographics and technical information; checks image quality.
• Participates on a specialized medical team for MRI scans of various organs and in preparing patients for procedures.
• Monitors patient condition and provides first aid as required; assists physicians in emergencies.
• Confers with the Supervisor to report problems and suggest improvements in patient care and technical quality.
• Monitors equipment performance and reports malfunctions to management.
