Job summary

HSHS St. Mary's Decatur Hospital, part of Hospital Sisters Health System, is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Imaging team in Decatur, IL. The role involves patient care, following physician orders, accurate positioning, and operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. MRI Tech I/II levels available with placement based on experience and qualifications. Sign-on bonus offered and 36-hour weeks with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.
• 1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care while following physician orders.
• Accurately position patients and prepare/operate MRI equipment.
• Ensure quality images are obtained for interpretation.
