Job summary

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team in Illinois. Under the radiologist's direction, you will perform high-quality MRI studies, position patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure optimal images for interpretation.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; MRI Tech I/II levels considered. Compensation aligns with experience and position requirements. Shifts rotate day and evening; 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:00pm-12:00am with flexible 8/10/12 hour

Qualifications

• Associates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program required.
• 2 years MRI experience required for MRI Tech II; 1 year preferred for MRI Tech I.
• ARRT MR credential and ARRT radiography credential required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Position patients accurately and prepare/equipment for imaging.
• Ensure image quality and safety compliance for interpretation.
• Assist with department needs and call coverage when possible.
