Geisinger is seeking MRI Technologist I to perform MR imaging and data analysis under licensed practitioner supervision. Responsibilities include selecting pulse sequences, ensuring patient safety, and assisting with interventional procedures. New graduates must obtain ARRT-MR / NMTCB / ARMRIT or ARRT-R prior to first day.

A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants. ARRT, NMTCB or ARMRIT certifications are required at hire, with advancement steps to level 2 within 24 months for

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at hire.
• NMTCB certification required at hire.
• ARMRIT certification required at hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry or primary ARRT-MR or NMTCB or ARMRIT prior to first day of employment.
• Applicants hired after March 10, 2024 must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Select appropriate pulse sequences considering established protocols and data acquisition parameters.
• Ensure patient identification, preparation, and safety while adhering to confidentiality and ALARA principles.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with MRI procedures and interventional imaging as required.
• Verify image quality and manage data transfer and archival storage.
