Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks an experienced MRI Technologist II to perform routine to complex MRI exams with high accuracy and patient focus. You will mentor MRI Technologist I and students, providing guidance in imaging techniques, safety, and patient care.

The role requires independent judgment and strong clinical skills in a dynamic radiology team. You will assist physicians, adhere to MRI standards and safety guidelines, and contribute to exceptional patient experiences while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an education program approved by credentialing body.
• Three years’ MRI Technologist experience.
• Must hold BLS or Instructor certification and ARRT MR credentials or state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex diagnostic MRI procedures including high-difficulty exams.
• Mentor MRI Technologist I and students.
• Assist physicians during MRI procedures and ensure patient safety.
