Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform diagnostic MRI procedures in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You will independently operate MRI equipment, prep patients, and acquire data for evaluation.

The role includes applying ALARA principles, documenting patient history, and assisting with interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB (MR endorsement) certification.
• Graduate of a radiologic technology specialty training program; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in routine and complex MRI duties with strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure preparation, document clinical history, and maintain confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, and apply ALARA to maximize safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure data storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; apply safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist with MRI procedures, select pulse sequences, and participate in quality improvement activities.
