Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Responsibilities include EMR/PACS navigation, patient care, positioning, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocols. Compliance with all regulatory requirements for safe and appropriate care is essential.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program (must be ARRT eligible)
• ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI within one year of hire if not currently registered
• BLS certification - American Heart Association

Other Skills/Knowledge:

• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ARRT (R) registration

Experience:

• 2 years radiography experience, 1 year MRI experience

Other Requirements:

Effective interpersonal skills to interact with patients under physical/emotional stress and collaborate with peers, nursing, radiologists, and providers.
